Where we are in the Redevelopment Blueprint process?
The Z-15-024 legislation to rezone the Howell Mill Road Corridor passed the Zoning Review Board September 10, 2015. The legislation will next go before the Zoning Committee, City Council, and to the Mayor's office for mayoral decision. The Zoning Committee will review the legislation on Wednesday, September 16th, and the City Council will do so on Monday, September 21st.
As of September 10, 2015, the drafting of the legislation for the Howell Mill Road Corridor has been completed, and has been passed by the Zoning Review Board. Many thanks to everyone who has been involved in the rezoning process; your input has been invaluable. We hope this website has helped facilitate discussion of this rezoning.
The rezoning area spans the section of Howell Mill Road from Interstate 75 to Forrest Street, and is bounded by the Berkeley Park and Underwood Hills neighborhoods.
